Yeohye Chai, L.AC Ph.D., is a highly skilled practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine who has honed her craft for over the course of nearly two decades.
A South Korean national, she received her Bachelor's degree and her PhD from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She trained as an acupuncturist at a Chinese hospital in Shanghai for 15 years, where she practiced for 8. Her full-time experience in China allowed her to perfect the traditional methods of acupuncture in the country of its origin.
Chai has also received a PhD in oriental medicine. She is especially knowledgeable in metabolic syndromes such as diabetes, as she specialized in this field during her 15 years of training in China. In addition to her admirable work on metabolic ailments, she has also conducted extensive research on how acupuncture can be used to help treat diseases including paralysis, lumbago, coxalgia, stomachaches, gastritis, constipation, headaches, migraines, obesity, and arthritis.
Chai is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Virginia, a NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture, and a NCCAOM Diplomate in Chinese Herbs
Fluent in Chinese, Korean, and English, Chai has become a master of her craft through years of specialized study.
